Dave Edwards
This guy’s a great producer out of NYC just coming on the scene. His The World Is Ours EP, which was released in October, got him a lot of attention with the music blogs and whatnot. Personally, I love his rendition of Ellie Goulding‘s Lights - it puts most other mixes of her remix-raped song to shame. Seriously, type “Ellie Goulding Lights Remix” into either youtube or soundcloud… ridiculous. I hope this guy breaks through at some point to start putting some class with David Guetta in the mainstream production scene.

Okay, so this guy might be a little too dubsteppy for some of you guys, but he’s going to be on the same level as Porter Robinson, Lazy Rich, etc. once he starts getting more exposure. He and 3LAU just put out a new EP – Relics Of A Dance Attic; I wasn’t a big fan because I don’t believe their sounds mix very well, but to each his own. This song’s pretty sweet though.

New-school R&B artist. He’s been around for a while, I’m not sure why he hasn’t hit the mainstream airwaves yet.

So by now, almost everyone in the electro/house scene has heard of Avicii. This guy is all over the place and is about to overtake DJ Tiesto as Europe’s DJ; and he’s only 21.

Kap Slap
Bethlehem, PA (or Lehigh, rather) seems to be a breeding ground for talented mash-up artists (5 & A Dime is also a Mountain Hawk). Jared Lucas, aka Kap Slap, just came out with his latest album, AA: Audio Appropriation, on the 11th – it’s a compilation of much of his recently released tracks.

Off to Greece!
Since I’m half Greek, my family has always wanted to visit. I, personally, haven’t been outside the US (Except Canada, but that doesn’t count). We’re staying at the most baller places [shown below], so I just hope we don’t run into any problems with their whole economic crisis and whatnot. Should be a blast.
This is the N.J.V. Athens Plaza Hotel which is where we’re staying our first night… This will probably be the most interesting night’s stay of the trip because there have been riots and protests for weeks outside the state building that’s to the right of the hotel in the picture.
The next day, we’ll be flying out to Mykonos to stay at the Petasos Beach Hotel & Resort. Mykonos is supposed to be the “party island” so I’m hoping that’s true.
Next, we’re going to Santorini, to stay at the Astra Suites! This is the place that I’m most excited for, simply because it’s the island with all the white houses. Oh, and in my excitement, I’m posting a song that I may/may not be playing on repeat the entire time that I’m there.

And finally, we’re off to Crete to stay at the Hotel Elounda. Haven’t really heard much about this place, but it looks really sweet (probably going to play some golf).

So, I’ve noticed that I have posted exactly 101 songs so far; instead of making you download them all individually I’ve uploaded a giant .zip file for ya… I’ve also gone back and cleaned up a bunch of my posts so now all the links are working.
